A Sign of Self-Respect
It is reported that Muhammad b. Al-Hanafīyah – Allāh have mercy on him – said: Whoever has self respect does not give any value to the worldly life (dunyā). Ibn Al-Jawzī, Sifatu Al-Safwah 2:77.
